Monday, July 7th was the first day of the 2025 Histematics Summer Program. Our middle and high school scholars showed up ready to learn. This summer participants are diving into such texts as 40 Million Dollar Slaves and The ABCs of Color to develop their understanding of Black History while improving their math and literacy skills. Students will be visiting the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitor’s Center in Church Creek, touring Historic Pine Street in Cambridge as well as a tour of important African American historical sites in West Baltimore and a regional HBCU college tour. We’ll keep you updated on the summer.
